Your marketing is busy.
Is it working?

Good Booth gives growth-stage companies senior marketing leadership without a full-time CMO. We start with a 30-day diagnostic that shows you what's working, what isn't, and exactly what to fix first.

THE PROBLEM

Your team is shipping. Campaigns are running, content is going out, the calendar is full and revenue still isn’t moving the way it should. That’s not an effort problem, it’s a leadership problem, and no amount of additional activity fixes it.

Most marketing problems aren’t execution problems.

Strategy nobody agrees on

Sales, product, and marketing each describe the target customer differently. Every campaign starts from a different assumption.

Execution without a spine

Six agencies, four tools, three freelancers, no one owning the whole. Work gets done; nothing compounds.

Spend you can’t defend

You know the total. You don’t know what’s working, what’s wasted, or what you’d cut first if the board asked tomorrow.

No line to revenue

Marketing reports on impressions and MQLs. The CEO asks about pipeline. Nobody can connect the two.

You don’t need more marketing. You need someone senior enough to tell you which of these is actually costing you money.

THE DIAGNOSTIC

Thirty days. A fixed fee. A straight answer.

I. Days 1–10 · Evidence before opinions

We pull the primary data first: twelve months of spend by channel and vendor, analytics and CRM access, pipeline conversion, every active agency contract and its last three months of deliverables. Then we interview your CEO, head of sales, marketing lead, CFO, and your agencies.

Five conversations minimum. We are listening for one thing in particular: whether your stakeholders describe the same priorities when asked separately.

We score your business across seven lenses: strategic clarity, spend accountability, brand-to-demand alignment, retention, marketing leadership, channel efficiency, and agency oversight. Red, yellow, or green, each with a supporting data point.

II. Days 11–22 · Seven lenses, then root cause

Red flags are symptoms until traced to a cause. “Leads are down” is a symptom. “Nobody owns messaging across three agencies” is a cause. Only causes make the roadmap, and we quantify the impact in dollars wherever the data supports it.

III. Days 23–30 · Three to five findings, priced

You get a written report with the scorecard, three to five prioritized findings with evidence and quantified impact, and a roadmap that maps each one to a specific next step. Plus a one-page summary you can hand to your board.

Delivered live, not emailed. Both partners in the room, and you can push back on every conclusion. Some findings are already working and just need protecting. Some you can fix internally without us. Some we'd do ourselves and we’ll tell you which is which.

HOW WE WORK

Discover. Guide. Forge. Anchor.

01 · Discover

Thirty days, seven lenses, three to five prioritized findings.

02 · Guide

You get a 90-day roadmap tied to your revenue goals. Not a list of ideas. A sequence of decisions, in order, with the reasoning behind the order.

03 · Forge

We run point on execution: directing your specialist network and any agency partners already in place, keeping messaging and creative consistent across every vendor touching the brand.

04 · Anchor

Monthly reporting tied to the business outcomes your board actually asks about, not impressions or MQLs. Monthly retainer or a defined project, you choose after the diagnostic.

WHY GOOD BOOTH

We have carried the same accountability you carry. We built the teams, managed the budgets, sat in the executive meetings, and answered for the number. That is why we start with a diagnosis instead of a proposal.

We’ve built marketing from the inside.

THE TYPICAL APPROACH

Starts with a channel, service, or campaign

Sells deliverables and retainers

Hands work to an account team

Reports campaign activity

Leaves you to manage internal alignment

GOOD BOOTH APPROACH

Starts with the business problem

Prioritizes the few changes that move performance

Both partners lead the engagement directly

Reports business outcomes

Has lived the competing priorities and budget fights

Most growing companies don’t need more marketing. They need to know which marketing matters and someone senior enough to say so. That’s Good Booth.

OUR STORY

We spent our careers on the inside. Ashton started in finance at Intel Corporation and moved into marketing leadership at Brink's, Spectrum Brands/Black and Decker, Incipio, and Arlo Technologies. Sarah built brand and marketing organizations at IBM, IKEA, Oakley, Incipio, and Torrid. We first worked together at Incipio, which is where this partnership actually started. Between us we have owned the budget, run the team, and answered for the number in front of executive teams.

It usually started the same way. A company would have a real marketing question and try to answer it with more marketing—another agency, another tool, another campaign. Activity was almost never the constraint. What was missing was someone senior enough to look at the whole picture and say which two things actually mattered.

That person is expensive, hard to find, and a twelve-month bet most growth-stage companies only get to make once. So they wait, and the question gets more expensive to answer.

Good Booth exists to give you that judgment without the search or the hire. We start with evidence: what’s working, what isn’t, and what to fix first. Some of what we find is already working and just needs protecting. Everything after that is easier.

We kept seeing the same problem.
